Every child has the right to good vision. That’s why the Nu Skin Foundation partners with CharityVision to provide school children in South America and the US with much-needed eye care. Whether it’s a simple pair of eyeglasses or an involved surgery, our combined efforts continually answer the call for a brighter future.
A staggering 70% of children drop out of school in the developing world because of an unmet eye need. To us, education is essential. And this statistic? Unacceptable. That’s why we, along with CharityVision, have partnered with local optometrists to create a new school screening pilot program for children in Colombia, Argentina, and California.
Since 2015, CharityVision has distributed more than 9,400 pairs of glasses. And a mobile team of optometrists has screened more than 37,370 children for visual health impairments right in their own neighborhoods. CharityVision is committed to improving children’s visual health, literacy, education, and future. Together, we plan to extend this gift of good vision throughout Latin America and the US.
