Sid Henderson - Lifetime Achievement Award Winner

Sid Henderson

Sid Henderson served as Executive Director of Nourish the Children, a Nu Skin Enterprises initiative, for several years.  This innovative social enterprise applies the rigor of successful business practices to provide a consistent and growing supply of nourishing food to the world’s most needy children.  Henderson helped initiate this great program that has resulted in more than 100,000 hungry children nourished every day. 

 

After retirement Henderson and his wife lived in Malawi for eight months helping to establish the School of Agriculture for Family Independence at Mtalimanja Village.  They played a key role in setting up and supporting this great project, creating an agricultural teaching village for the people of Malawi.

 

Henderson also served as Vice President of Materials Management for Nu Skin Enterprises and filled many executive positions in marketing and product development. He earned his B.A. degree in 1971 from Brigham Young University and began his career in business and project management with Bechtel Corporation. Henderson spent 12 years in Saudi Arabia from 1978 to 1990, employed by the Arabian American Oil Company (ARAMCO). He negotiated contracts with international companies to build communities, power plants and refineries. He joined Nu Skin in 1993.
