Ouelessebougou - Utah Alliance
In 2008, five village drinking wells were constructed in Mali. The Ouelessebougou Alliance was established in 1985 to address the tragedies facing the sub-Saharan country after an 18-year drought. The Alliance's purpose is to work in partnership with village citizens to achieve their economic, health care and community development objectives. The Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation made a donation to the Ouelessebougou Utah Alliance in December 2006 to purchase three drinking wells in Mali, Africa.

Previous projects include:

• Provided a grant in 2004 to build four drinking wells near elementary schools
• Contributed funds in the summer of 2000 to dig wells, plant gardens, build school buildings, establish a microenterprise system and co-ops for women's groups, build bridges and a dam, and provide health-care services
