Second Nu Hope School in China Opens for Students

On February 23, 2006, Nu Skin China opened its second Nu Hope School at Daqiao Village, Diaofang County, Guangdong Province, China. The opening ceremony was attended by local government officials, Nu Skin China management team, sales leaders, and over 200 teachers and students from the school. Local officials gave speeches and thanked Nu Skin for its generous support to the school. Corey Lindley and Frankie Kiow also spoke at the ceremony and expressed the company's commitment to being a force for good and improving people's lives in China. Nu Skin executives and sales leaders presented backpacks and other study supplies to the students.

The Daqiao Elementary School used to be in a very old building in substantial disrepair. It had been a long time wish of the local people to build a new building for the school. After Nu Skin learned about the situation, the company decided to donate funds for construction of a new school building. The new building is three stories high with classrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors and labs on the 3rd floor. It holds over 200 students and teachers. The school has been renamed the Daqiao Nu Skin Hope School.

According to Frankie Kiow, President of Nu Skin China, Nu Skin has made generous donations to the China Hope School projects in the past several years for construction of five new school buildings. This is the second school to be completed. The first school was opened in Chun An County, Zhejiang Province in 2004. Three other schools will be completed by mid 2006. Nu Skin plans to make donations to five additional schools in the near future.
