Force for Good Day Around the World
In June, Nu Skin employees and distributors around the world participated in Nu Skin’s annual Force for Good Day to improve the lives of children in their communities. Take a look at some of the highlights:
USA: Approximately 200 Nu Skin employees gathered for the company’s 15th anniversary of the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation. Employees went out to build the community by participating in projects for Habitat for Humanity, the South Franklin Community Center and Provo City Parks. The service was indicative of the hope the foundation provides to children the world over and is also connected to Nu Skin’s latest building project at its headquarters in downtown Provo, Utah.

Mainland China: Nu Skin China employees donated toys and distributed cards to more than 500 children who are recovering from cardiac surgery. Employees in Greater China continue to donate time and funds to help children with congenital heart disease, in addition to supporting families who have been affected by recent natural disasters.
Australia: Nu Skin Australia employees visited the Stewart House, a sanctuary for children from disadvantaged homes. Children come to the Stewart House for two-week periods and receive specialized medical care, counseling, schooling and a fun break from home. The Nu Skin staff spent the day spoiling the children with jewelry-making, fake tattoos and beach games.

Japan: This year’s Force for Good Day in Japan focused on the “Kits for Kids Project,” an initiative to send stationery kits to kindergarten and elementary school children, providing support to children affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake in March. Nu Skin Japan employees worked together to package 4,000 kits. Nu Skin will continue to expand force for good activities and provide support for those who were affected by the earthquake.

Thailand: Staff and distributors donated US$16,667 to the “One Month Match Program for Japan Relief” in addition to a donation of US$3,333 to support relief efforts for flooding in Southern Thailand.
Philippines: Employees donated 50 sets of school supplies to children of the CHILD Foundation just in time for the children to head back to school. In addition, a select few employees represented Nu Skin in cleaning a coastal area.
Taiwan: Each employee received a story about a child from the Eden Social Welfare Foundation or the Taiwan Cardiac Children’s Foundation, both foundations that receive grants from Nu Skin’s force for good efforts. The employees made cards and gifts for their child and on June 17 they were delivered to 27 boys and girls.

Malaysia: Nu Skin Malaysia hosted a blood drive in June in conjunction with World Blood Day. Approximately 79 employees, distributors and friends donated blood to help local community members.
Indonesia: Nu Skin Indonesia employees donated school bags, stationery and food to 100 children from needy families.
